New home!

Finally I've put my bean into a bigger pot and i had to put a skewer into it and tied it together so it wouldn't fall over. All I have to do now is nourish it with water and and wait.

Leaving home!

My bean has now got so big, soon I'll have to put it either outside or in a bigger pot and leave it inside. I'm getting really excited because its flowers are getting bigger. There's one problem though, it's that the roots are getting to big for the pot, so if we pull the plant by the stem the plant stem might snap, so what we thought of was if we cut the pot open down the side so it will be easier to get the plant transferred to a different pot. This morning I gave my plant 100ml of water.

Flowered!

Finally, after weeks my bean has flowered.I just need to be careful because the flowers and leaves are flopping down, so I need to keep on watering it and I need to tie a stick on the plant so it doesn't bend to one side.also I've gave my plant 100ml of water.

Huge

I've given my plant 100ml of water just before it dried out. It's massive, in the summer I'm going to put it outside because its getting too big. And needs to pollinate.

Planted again.

Finally I've put my bean into a new pot and gave it 150ml of water and loads of soil.

Getting bigger!

It's been about a month now and my bean is massive. I'm getting very proud that my bean isn't mouldy because I know that it's very easy for it to get mouldy, but most of all I'm proud that the sepals have come out. Tomorrow I'm going to transfer my bean to a bigger pot so the roots don't get stuck.

Sprouted!

A couple of days ago I gave my bean 25ml of water.
And guess what, it's sprouted ,and these are the details.
The bean is 3cm tall at the moment but the sepals have not opened yet!

About me!

I am a nearly eleven year old boy, who loves football, mucking about and annoying my sister! This is my school project, due to finish in June.

Planted the bean

My School project is to look after a bean.
I have just planted it and gave it 50ml of water.
I hope that my bean will have beans of its own, I need to water it every week to make it grow, not forgetting giving it sunlight, by putting it by the window.
